Life is beautiful, even after death.

Life is beautiful, even after death.

Sacred Pet Studio exists to honor that truth through careful craft. Each piece is made with respect for the life it once held and the memory it continues to carry.

BEHIND THE STUDIO

Sacred Pet Studio is led by a professional taxidermist and metal artist whose work sits at the intersection of memory and material.

Drawn to bone for its quiet embodiment of both life and death, founder Annie LaVoie transforms natural remains into fine art sculptures and heirloom jewelry. Surviving a life-threatening health crisis herself, her practice is rooted in deep respect for mortality, resilience, and the stories carried by the materials themselves.

Each piece is created entirely by hand, from preparation through final fabrication. As a pet owner herself, Annie knows the impact that cats and dogs make in our lives. They treat us with respect, and so we take the same respectful care when treating to their remains. The process is intentionally slow and deeply considered— never rushed, never replicated, and never treated lightly.

Sacred Pet Studio exists to offer a thoughtful and ethical way to honor memory; whether through custom pet memorials, taxidermy, or sculptural works made from responsibly sourced materials.

  • "I had Annie process my dog’s leg after amputation due to cancer. It was such a life shifting moment for my dog and I and I knew that I wanted to memorialize it somehow."

Annie was so kind and thoughtful throughout the whole process. She kept me updated along the way, but only with the information I wanted and was comfortable with. She is incredibly professional and knowledgeable, skilled and thoughtful. I feel like she joined us on our journey and met me where I was at. Amazing experience, Annie is the best!

  • "Annie was extremely professional when handling my pet memorial. I am thankful to have found such a specialized taxidermist located in Chattanooga, Tennessee."

Her communication was spot on and the processing was delivered on time. I am thankful to have my pet back with me and to have carved bone jewelry as a keepsake.
